specifically for a group show titled "Solutions".
The show was to celebrate Black History Month.
The guidelines were to come up with a problem that faces the Black community
today and then offer a solution.
This painting is a "problem"...There
are far too many black men in
prison for non-violent crimes when they should be home with their
families...
The organizers of this show hope to make it a yearly event...
