This painting was created
specifically for a group show titled "Solutions".
The show was to celebrate Black History Month.
The guidelines were to come up with a problem that faces the Black community
today and then offer a solution.
This painting is a solution...it
considers the loss of family ties faced by people
who were disenfranchised from their origins...with the advent of DNA testing
people are now able to discover from whence they came...
Hence the title "Found DNA"...
The organizers of this show hope to make it a yearly event...
